Suvigya is an India-qualified commercial disputes lawyer with diverse experience in advising and representing domestic and international clients including major public institutions in a wide array of complex disputes before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, sub-ordinate Courts, Tribunals, and other fora. He holds a specialised masters degree in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from the National University of Singapore. Currently engaged as an Associate Partner at PSL Advocates and Solicitors, Suvigya leads the commercial arbitration and white-collar offenses defense practice at the firm. He regularly advises clients in a broad spectrum of contentious matters and has developed an expertise and carved a niche in the field of domestic and international dispute resolution with a strong focus on international commercial arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy disputes, corporate frauds, and white-collar crimes/economic offenses defense.
He regularly assists clients in complex shareholder disputes, international sale of goods disputes, construction and infrastructure disputes and has obtained interim reliefs for clients in matters pertaining to the invocation of bank guarantees, freezing of bank accounts, bails, and quashing of criminal complaints. He is consistently engaged to appear before foreign and domestic seated Arbitration Tribunals administered by globally renowned international arbitral institutions including the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR- AAA), and Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) et al. His endeavor is aligned with the vision of the firm to provide bespoke pragmatic legal solutions and effective dispute resolution strategies to clients.
Suvigya consistently contributes to the academic and legal discourse on contentious issues in his practice areas and regularly engaged to speak and conduct training workshops on ADR methods. He is focused on augmenting his expertise in international arbitration and contribute to the emergent developments in alternative methods of cross-border dispute resolution. He is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA), Chhattisgarh High Court Bar Association (CGHCBA), Young Arbitrators Forum, International Chamber of Commerce (YAF), and the YSIAC, Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
